Mrs. Nithya is a professionally Certified Childbirth Educator and Lactation Counselor from CAPPA, USA. She also holds a MBA from California State University, USA. For close to 13 years, Nithya worked in the IT industry in various managerial positions. Nithya has been passionate about a few things for a really long time. One, teaching and empowering others; Two, enabling women-to-women support; Three, the healthcare domain. What drove her passions stronger was her tryst with the healthcare domain while she worked in the IT industry and her desire to get women to take care of themselves and support other women do the same. So, after all the years of deliberating, she decided to quit her job and started focusing on her inner self and realized where women needed most support. Her recollection of her own labour and birth and looking around in today’s world, she realized the need for creating Jananya. And that’s how her journey and Jananya’s journey began.

You can register for detailed lactation classes anytime after 36 weeks of pregnancy or as soon as your baby is born.

Jananya's pre-pregnancy classes cater to couples who are planning a natural conception as well as couples who are undergoing fertility treatments. Depending on your needs, your classes will be customized.
Having your child during the parenting sessions is not mandatory.
Jananya believes in the value of support. Jananya encourages the spouse/partner to be a part of the sessions.

I recommend jananya to all the new moms and moms to be. Nithya the founder of jananya gives lot of informations on pregnancy and post partum delivery. She teaches lot of breathing techniques, excersies which was very useful during labor. I had normal delivery and i followed all the techniques. How to be prepared when we get contraction pain. After this she taught about breastfeeding which is more inportant after delivery. She conducted some activites during the class..if i wouldnt have attended this pregnancy class now i wouldnt have got a clear pic of wat is pregnancy about and how much parenting is improtant in life. Thanks to this jananya class.
I had joined jananya maternity classes for my second pregnancy around 20+weeks and just delivered a healthy baby on july 15th . nithya , the person running these classes is a very positive person who always emphasises on pregnancy fitness, positive womb connection, and positive visualisation through affirmations to be practiced through out pregnancy . I had the bestest birthing experience because of her classes and timely counseling with right information. she Instilled so much confidence in me that I was able to breastfeed my baby within 1 hour of her birth inspite of a csection. was able to bond with my baby also emotionally very well the minute I held her on my arms. thanks to nithya for encouraging me to keep touching my womb and talking to my baby through the pregnancy. now I'm onto my exclusive breastfeeding journey for my baby with the help of right breastfeeding strategies as explained by nithya. I'm writing this review so that many more peggy mommy's can benefit from her classes and experience blissful pregnancy and parenting journey .
I had a very good experience with Jananya and i would strongly recommend moms to be to attend her classes on pregnancy and breast feeding as thats the important phase of both mom and baby.I had latching issues and i came to know about Jananya Pregnancy to Parenthood and attended the class for breast feeding and baby care which was really helpful.Now i could continue breast feed with proper latch.Thanks to Jananya ❤
