"THE LIFE WITHIN YOU" - For Mothers
2 1/2 hours per session
An in-depth pregnancy class that empowers mothers to take charge of their pregnancy, labour and birth. Helps mothers understand their pregnancy and prepare them better for a lovely birth, breastfeeding and postpartum. Detailed curriculum covering diet, exercise, baby development, labour coping techniques, postpartum and basic breastfeeding. Fun-filled classes with lots of activities and fitness routines.
"IT TAKES TWO" - For Couples
2-1/2 hours per session
A class for couples who wish to get all details of pregnancy and understand support and coping mechanisms during labour and birth. Curriculum focuses on pregnancy health, labour and birth with detailed focus on support techniques and care during labour. Special dad-focused classes where dads are offered wonderful tips on how they can be a complete hands-on partner in pregnancy, labour, birth and breastfeeding.
"BREASTFEED AWAY TO GLORY" - For moms and babies
2 1/2 hours per session and an optional meet-and-greet 3rd session
A breastfeeding class for new moms and moms-to-be to help them exclusively breastfeed with ease and watch their babies thrive. Curriculum focuses on tips to successfully breastfeed, overcoming breastfeeding challenges, positions for breastfeeding and nutrition during breastfeeding. Jananya helps mothers in making informed decisions on the breastfeeding choices by offering the right resources.
"YOU GROW AS THEY GROW" - For moms and dads
2 hours per session
Bring your babies and join the fun with other parents and their babies. Open for dad, moms and their little bundles of joy. Open for parents and babies aged 0-12 months. Interactive sessions, parents can share their stories, offer peer-to-peer support, understand common problems, learn about nutrition and growth of their babies, and take away lots of solutions and memories. Fun-filled classes with activities for parents and babies.

About the founder
Hello! I'm Nithya Rajanarayanan
I am a professionally Certified Childbirth Educator and Lactation Counselor from CAPPA, USA. I also hold an MBA from California State University, USA. For close to 13 years, I have worked in the IT industry in various managerial positions. I have been passionate about a few things for a really long time. One, teaching and empowering others; Two, enabling women-to-women support; Three, the healthcare domain.
What drove my passions stronger was my tryst with the healthcare domain while I worked in the IT industry, my desire to get women to take care of themselves and support other women do the same. So, after years of deliberating, I decided to quit my job and started focusing on my inner self and realized where women needed most support. My recollection of my own labour and birth and looking around in today’s world made me realize the need for creating Jananya. And that’s how my journey and Jananya’s journey began..

- You can register anytime between 4th an 9th months. The earlier you register, the better it will help you go through a smooth pregnancy
- I don’t live in Chennai. How can I attend these sessions?
- Jananya offers online sessions for mothers and families who are not able to attend our in-person sessions. Please contact us for more details.
- What is the best time to register for lactation classes?
- You can register for detailed lactation classes anytime after 36 weeks of pregnancy.
- I don’t find a convenient class timing. What should I do?
- Go ahead and drop us a note. Our classes keep evolving and we will keep adding different batch timings depending on the number of enrollments.
- I am already in my 8th month of pregnancy and have not followed a healthy pregnancy lifestyle. Is it too late for me to have a natural birth?
